entry date and your personal budget. Please note that - American Universities are #1 in the world and have collected hundred of Olympic medals in all kinds of sports.
- As good results bring fame, donations and money through lucrative TV contracts, most American Universities have very generous Sport Scholarships available.
- Contrary to the merit scholarships, nationality is not a factor.
- AUAP through its Selection and Guaranteed Admission Program will research and find the adequate universities which are welcoming US and foreign athletes.
- Sports scholarships are equally divided between Men and Women.
- This year AUAP has successfully placed Skiers, Golfers, Volley Ball Players etc.
- You may also practice your favorite sport at a non competitive level (Varsity)
- Competitions are at various levels as there are many different leagues.
- Scholarship offers and recommendations for admission are made by each coach.
- AUAP maintains a database of all coaches of the United States Universities.
- Most of the time coaches do not reply to letters.
- AUAP will survey and contact them by telephone for you.
- The minimum for TOEFL and SAT tests are lower for athletes following the NCAA rules.
- You should contact AUAP at least 18 months before the date of entry.
- During your studies, you should maintain good academic grades (GPA) to stay on the team.
- Scholarships could go up to 100% of the tuition fees.
